1) Introduction

By entering this competition (the "Competition"), entrants agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. The competition is organised by Springbrook Foods Ltd. trading as SideCar.

2) Competition Prize

The prize for the winner of the competition includes the following:

• 2x VIP tickets to the Marlborough Wine & Food Festival, scheduled for February 8th, 2025, in Blenheim, New Zealand.
•  
• Flights to Blenheim for the winner and one (1) plus one, including return economy class airfare from the winner’s nearest New Zealand regional airport.
• Accommodation for two (2) at The Cellar Door, including three (3) nights’ stay: one (1) night on February 7th, 2025, one (1) night on February 8th, 2025, and one (1) night on February 9 2025.
• Dinner for two (2) at Arbour Dining on one of the nights, including a full dinner for two people. The menu will be a set offering based on Arbour Dining's recommendation at the time of booking. The booking time will be at Organisers' discretion but between the normal expected hours of 'dinner'.
  
  
• A rental car for the winner and their plus one to use for the duration of the trip to the Marlborough region, to be used for getting to the booked activities, with pick-up and drop-off locations specified by the Organisers. The rental car must not be used outside of the Blenheim region.
  
  
• A private tour of the SideCar Mayo factory, including meeting the mayomakers.
  
  
• The total prize package is valued at approximately $5000NZD. The Prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash if the Prize Winners do not wish to or are unable to take up the Prize for any reason  

3) Eligibility

This competition is open to individuals who are legal residents of New Zealand and are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry.
The winner's plus one must also meet the same age requirement (21 years or older).
The winner must be able to travel to Blenheim on the specified dates (February 7th, 8th and 9th 2025). If travel outside of these dates is required the winner must in good faith make themselves available. Any costs incurred for travel to and from the winner’s departure airport are not included in the prize. Sunday, February 9th, 2025, is free for the prize winner to plan their own activities and explore the Marlborough region at their leisure. While the rental car will be available for use, any expenses incurred outside of the activities included in the prize package will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

4) How to Enter

To enter the competition, participants must fill out the entry form on the competition page sidecarmayo.nz/win.
Entries must be submitted by January 8th, 2025, and no late entries will be accepted.
Entries into the competition are an acknowledgement and acceptance of the terms and conditions listed here.
Each participant can enter the competition only once. Multiple entries from the same individual will be disqualified.

5) Winner Selection

The winner will be selected from all eligible entries received by the competition closing date. The winner will be notified by email and phone within 24 hours of the closing date.
If the winner does not respond to the notification within 24 hours or if the prize is unclaimed, the Organisers reserve the right to select an alternative winner.
Winner must immediately notify SideCar which New Zealand regional airport they would depart from, to ensure the Organiser can book appropriate flights without delay.

6) Prize Restrictions

The prize is not transferable, and there are no cash or alternative prizes available.
Each element of the prize must be claimed and adhered to.
Travel dates are fixed for February 7th and 8th, 2025, and cannot be changed or extended (unless travel arrangements require this). No extensions or substitutions will be allowed.
The winner and their guest must travel together and depart from the same New Zealand location.
The rental car is provided for the duration of the trip and is subject to the rental company’s terms and conditions. A valid driver’s license is required. The rental car must not be taken outside of the Marlborough region.
All prize details, including the tour of the SideCar Mayo factory, are subject to availability and scheduling with the Organisers.

7) Winner’s Photo Requirement and Release

The winner will only be eligible for the prize if they agree to sign a release form to allow the use of their photographs for promotional purposes related to SideCar Mayo on their social media platforms.
As part of the prize, the winner agrees to take a photograph or be in a photograph at each of the booked activities (e.g., the Marlborough Wine & Food Festival, Arbour Dining dinner, SideCar Mayo factory tour) and supply the photos to SideCar Mayo for use in their social media and promotional materials.

8) Liability

The Organisers will not be held responsible for any injury, loss, damage, or expenses (including but not limited to, travel disruptions or personal injury) arising from the use or enjoyment of the prize.
The Organisers are not responsible for any acts of God, accidents, or unforeseen circumstances that may impact the fulfillment of the prize, including cancellations or changes to the Marlborough Wine & Food Festival, accommodation, or other components of the prize.

9) Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow the Organisers to use their name, likeness, and/or photograph for promotional purposes in connection with this Competition without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

10) Data Privacy

Personal data collected during the Competition will be used in accordance with the Organisers’ privacy policy. By entering, participants consent to the use of their data for the purpose of administering the competition, contacting the winner, and any related promotional activities.

11) Force Majeure

The Organisers will not be liable for failure to perform or delay in performance of any obligation under these Terms and Conditions due to events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, or pandemics.

12) Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes arising from this Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

13) Acceptance of Terms

By entering the Competition, participants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
